New Adult Discovery Hour Class 
On Sunday, April 30,  began a new 6-week video and discussion series based on Philip Yancey's award-winning book, "The Jesus I Never Knew."  Each week, we will see several film depictions of Jesus, his life and his ministry.  Some will be funny, some will be profound, and some will even be disturbing.  The film clips are designed to help us think about Jesus in a new way, to examine our own preconceived ideas in comparison with what the Bible teaches.  After reacting to the film clips, we will turn to the Gospel accounts of these same scenes to explore them more deeply.  Whether you've been raised in the church and have known Jesus all your life, or are meeting Jesus for the first time, Philip Yancey challenges us to think about this man as the Bible presents him - brilliant, creative, challenging, fearless, compassionate, unpredictable, and ultimately satisfying.  Come discover a side of Jesus you never knew.  Refreshments served, in the Seminar Room.  (P.S.
