Music for Meals

Join us for a fun music-filled evening out to help fight hunger in Coralville.  Music for Meals Concert is will benefit the Coralille Ecumenical Food Pantry and is featuring the talented Kevin "BF" Burt singing the blues with his guitar and harmonica as well as Chase Garret, a local piano genius playing his boogie woogie piano style music.  Both are very entertaining!  Other local talent will be featured and dinner will be served from 5-7pm  The concert will be held at The Old Brick, 26 E. Market St. in Iowal City from 5-10pm.

IN THE DUST OF THE RABBI                                                                                             

Do you ever feel like you are a follower of Jesus, but from a distance? "Follow a Rabbi, drink in his words, and be covered with the dust of his feet," says the ancient Jewish proverb. In Jesus' day, disciples followed their Rabbi so closely that they would be covered with the dust kicked up by the Rabbi's feet. Adult Discovery Hour is studying this 10 week series by Ray Vander Laan @ 9am Sunday mornings and it’s not too late to join! Come, discover how you can get dusty and be closer to your Rabbi, Jesus, by doing what he does. Discover also the fierce passion of our early Christian brothers and sisters to walk like Jesus, even when the path became treacherous. Discipleship for adults, teens, and pre-teens. Attend as a family if you like.
