New Life supports the following local ministries and others:

Big Brother Big Sisters of Johnson County (BBBS): Mentoring through BBBS provides the opportunity to impact a child's life by being a positive adult role model and a chance to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Contact the church office for details.

Geneva Campus Ministry: Representing Jesus Christ at the University of Iowa through warm hospitality, Biblical teaching, intellectual engagement, and practical service. New Life has many people active with Geneva's board, invites students to worship with us, provides transportation to events, and provides financial support. Visit GCM's Facebook Page

Christmas Store: The Christmas Store is New Life's Christmas mission project. The store provides an opportunity for parents to shop for new Christmas gifts without creating more financial strain. A story book that shares the good news of Jesus is provided to the children of the Christmas Store families identified through New Life's relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Iowa City Free Lunch Program: Providing free food and hospitality in Iowa City Monday through Saturday.  New Life volunteers provide and serve lunch. Visit the Free Lunch Website

Cru: Katie Smith serves as Team Leader for the State of Iowa, including the University of Iowa and Iowa State University. The team's focus is to win, build and send college students, so that everyone in the State of Iowa and around the world knows someone who truly follows Jesus.


Heritage Christian School: Heritage Christian School, located in North Liberty, Iowa, exists to serve Christ by partnering with parents to provide biblically faithful, academically excellent education for grades pre k - 8th grade. The vision is to be a leader in developing passionate lifelong learners committed to Christ

Good Samaritan Efforts:  We support those in our community and in our own church who are physically, spiritually, or financially in need through walk-in and as-needed assistance.

New Life supports the following global missions and others:

Missionaries in Niger: New Life supports church members Jeremy and Dr. Susan Beebout and their family as they serve a community in Niger.  Jeremy and Susan Beebout work with the Evangelical Church of the Republic of Niger (EERN) to build ministry programs, enabling Nigerien Christians to share Christ's love with the people of Niger by addressing their health and agricultural needs.  Visit their website for more info, subscribe to their newsletter, or to financially support them.

We also support Tom & Aichatou Johnson work with Many Hands for Haiti. Tom serves as the spiritual development manager and staff missiologist. Words of Hope:  We support this organization whose mission is to help build the Church worldwide through their worldwide radio program and print media. Visit the website

Reformed Church World Services (now RCA Care Network): Compassionate action and relief efforts in the U.S. and around the world. Visit their Website

Mission trips worldwide: A group from New Life went to Lolito, Ghana, Africa in the summer of 2016. The group provided the children of Lolito with a set of school supplies, they also organized reading clinics, and established the first school library. Visit the website

Joel and Sam Bouwers: The Bouwers volunteered with the Reformed Church in America's Global Mission Office to tell stories of how Christ is at work in lives all over the globe. Their mission took them to Nicaragua, Brazil, South Africa, Israel/Palestine, and more! Follow the Bouwers on their blog.
